Douglas Fernandes has over 28 years of extensive experience in maritime operations, primarily with Shell since February 1995. Currently serving as a Maritime Assurance Assessor, Douglas exhibits strong competencies in quality assurance and governance within Shell's maritime division, while also championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Previous roles include Marine Security Advisor, responsible for the vetting and screening of vessels for Shell, and Chief Engineer on various product tankers, VLCCs, and LNG carriers.
