Elwin Van Amerongen

Elwin Van Amerongen is a Project HSSE Manager at Royal Dutch Shell, bringing 27 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Previously, they held key roles at Shell, including Exploration HSSE Lead, Assurance & Technical Safety Team Lead, and Global HSE Manager. Elwin has been instrumental in various venture start-ups, particularly in Sichuan, where they built HSSE&SD systems from the ground up. They also contributed to the Basrah Gas Company's projects, achieving notable safety performance in challenging environments. Elwin holds a Master's in Management of Health, Safety & Environment from Delft University of Technology.
