Erik Schaap

Erik Schaap is an experienced professional with a strong background in IT and project management, currently serving as the Global Delivery Lead for SD-WAN at Shell since March 2019. In this role, Erik leads the transformation of the Voice estate across Europe and the Americas and has also managed various workstreams focused on DC migration and connectivity improvements. Erik is the owner of Schaap Interim Management B.V., providing consultancy services and successfully delivering IT system implementations on time and within budget since 2011. Previous positions include Senior Project Manager at Royal FloraHolland, where Erik oversaw the restructuring of IT and telecom infrastructure, and a series of senior roles at Shell and acision, where responsibilities encompassed project delivery, operations management, and resource planning in international environments. Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and has continued professional development through various trainings and academies.
