Erik van Dijk

Erik van Dijk is an experienced professional in information and digital technology management, currently serving as the IDT Manager for Subsurface & Wells at Shell since February 2014, focusing on Exploration and Carbon Storage. Before this role, Erik held the position of Regional Exploration IT Manager for the Middle East and Africa, where responsibilities included enabling business success through information management solutions. Additionally, Erik managed application portfolios for Real Estate, Security, and Shell Aircraft, ensuring optimal investment and impact assessments. Prior to joining Shell, Erik worked as a Senior Manager and Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in complex projects and Agile project management, and began the career as a GIS Consultant at Fugro Inpark B.V., focusing on GIS application design for Shell International. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Geology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and completed VWO at Blariacum.
