Eveline Smeets

Eveline Smeets possesses extensive experience in the pension and actuarial fields, currently serving as the Head of Actuarial Affairs at Shell Pensioenbureau Nederland and as an executive board member of Shell Nederland Pensioenfonds Stichting since April 2016. Previously, Eveline contributed as an advisory member to the pension committee and the audit and risk committee at Stichting Pensioenfonds Medisch Specialisten from January 2021 to December 2021. Prior roles include consulting and management positions at Towers Perrin and Towers Watson from 2007 to 2016 and a policy officer role at Mn Services from 2001 to 2004. Eveline holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, obtained between 1994 and 2000.
