Fabian Ernst earned a PhD from Delft University of Technology in 1994. They contributed to the field as a Senior Research Scientist at Philips from 1999 to 2005, and as a Senior Research Geophysicist and Team Leader at SIEP from 2005 to 2013. After serving as Team Lead for Geophysical Processing at BSP from 2013 to 2017, they became the Lead Signal Processing at Petroleum Development Oman until 2022. Currently, Fabian holds the position of Principal Geophysicist at Shell.
