Felix Rubio Dalmau is a Principal Engineer and Build & Configuration Ops Lead at Shell since February 2020, with previous experience as an HPC Engineer at Michael Bailey Associates from September 2014 to February 2020. Felix's expertise includes analyzing and optimizing performance of Oil & Gas applications, and designing secure communication channels for cloud-based development. Prior to this, Felix worked as a researcher at Repsol-BSC Research Center, focusing on optimization for HPC platforms in the oil and gas sector, as well as developing a high-performance computing simulator for cardiac tissue and an FFT implementation. Felix also has experience as a Software Developer at the National Bioinformatics Institute and as a Junior Engineer at Promax Electronica. Felix holds a Master’s degree in Computer Architecture, Networks and Systems from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an MBA from Grupo EFEM, and a Post-Graduate certification in Leadership and Group Management.
