Frans Lacon

Frans Lacon possesses extensive experience in finance and risk management, currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board for the Shell Pension Fund since July 2023, overseeing a diverse portfolio of €26 billion in assets while promoting ESG investments. As a Riskmanager and Change Lead at ASN Bank since March 2016, Frans is responsible for leading the implementation of a risk management framework aligned with international COSO standards. Previous roles include Strategy Consultant at SNS Bank, where a new retail business model was developed, and various global finance management positions at Shell from 1999 to 2010, including CFO roles in renewable energy divisions. Additional experience includes interim assignments in finance and business consultancy for Sara Lee and Ernst & Young. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees from INSEAD and Tilburg University, with a focus on Business Economics and Global Management.
