Frederic Vander Heyden

Frederic Vander Heyden is a seasoned professional with 35 years of experience in leading upstream oil and gas exploration and development projects. They served as Development Manager at Petroleum Development Oman from 2009 to 2012, and held the role of Field Development Manager for North Kuwait at Shell from 2017 to 2021. Frederic has also worked as Exploration Manager in Bolivia and in various regional development roles across South America, Africa, Russia, and Kazakhstan. They earned an Executive MBA in Finance & Strategy with Distinction from London Business School and completed an Executive Leadership program at Columbia Business School, also with Distinction. Frederic holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Liège and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain, both with top honors.
