Frederico Miranda

Frederico Miranda is a skilled Principal Exploration Geologist at Shell since November 2025, specializing in leading multidisciplinary teams for petroleum system analysis and portfolio development. Currently serving as President of the Brazilian Association of Petroleum Geologists and as an Ethics Advisor for the SEG, Frederico has previously held significant roles at Eneva, including Head of Exploration and Director of Exploration, Reservoir and Low Carbon Technologies. Professional experience includes positions as Senior Geologist at OGX Oil and Gas and as a Wellsite Geologist at Petrobras. Frederico holds a Master’s degree in Shale Gas from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and has completed specialized programs in Petrophysics and Basin Analysis, alongside an exchange program at the Colorado School of Mines focused on Unconventional Oil & Gas Resources.
