Freek R.

Freek R. is a Senior Legal Counsel and a Board Member of the Dutch Association of In-house Legal Counsel (NGB), where they actively support the organization’s mission to enhance the careers of its members. With previous roles as Chairman of the NGB, and as Vice-Chair of the Upstream and International Staff Council at Shell, Freek has significant experience in legal advisory and organizational governance. They began their career as an advocate specializing in insolvency and company law, before progressing to various legal counsel positions in notable firms. Freek holds a Master's degree in Civil Law from Universiteit Leiden and additional qualifications in insolvency law and executive education.
