Gabriel Machado is a geophysicist with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently employed at Shell since October 2019, Gabriel applies expertise in geophysics to various projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, where responsibilities involved leading over 150 students in Petrel software for seismic interpretation. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Gabriel contributed to a multidisciplinary project focusing on the Arbuckle-Basement system, conducting seismic interpretations and analyzing correlations with waste water injection parameters. Gabriel holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Geophysics from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Geophysics Engineer degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
