Gary Saunders is currently the Projects Lead for Shell UK, overseeing all projects and modifications for the Bacton, Leman, and Sole Pit production units in the Southern North Sea. Previously, Gary served as the Americas Planning & Scheduling Discipline Focal Point for Shell International in Houston from 2009 to 2010 and as a Cost/Planning Engineer for Shell from 2000 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Gary led a team of Planning Engineers at AMEC, focusing on scheduling for maintenance and engineering modifications for Shell UK's assets from 1996 to 2000. Gary holds a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Lowestoft College of Further Education, earned between 1986 and 1988.
