George Horn

George Horn is a retired Offshore Crane Resource Coordinator for Shell, having worked in the oil and gas industry since 1975. They began their career as a field mechanic at Taylor Machine Works and later served as a Barge Engineer at Teledyne Movible Offshore Inc., where they focused on the construction and maintenance of offshore platforms. Since joining Shell in 1982, George has specialized in crane inspections and certifications, liaising with regulatory agencies and overseeing safety audits and incident responses. Additionally, they own Sweetwater Farm, where they breed, raise, and train mountain horses.
