Georgios Garoufalias

Georgios Garoufalias is a Senior Legal Counsel at Shell, where they held several prominent roles including Managing Counsel for IG Ventures and Head of Legal in Bolivia from 2017 to 2021. Prior to this, Georgios served as Principal Counsel and Local Compliance Officer for BG Group in Bolivia, Uruguay, and Honduras between 2012 and 2017, where they negotiated significant upstream agreements with various governments. Georgios began their legal career as General Counsel at Citibank Bolivia from 1998 to 2001. They are currently pursuing a Master of Jurisprudence in Law at the University of Oxford.
