Gerco Janssen

Gerco Janssen has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, serving as Lead Principal Reservoir Engineer at Shell from April 1997 to May 2018, where responsibilities included evaluating and supporting new business development projects. Previously held positions at Shell include Reservoir Engineer and Senior Auditor in R&HC, focusing on subsurface and production forecasting. At Sakhalin Energy from August 2007 to June 2011, Gerco led the Development Optimisation Group, overseeing the optimisation of a Russian offshore oilfield. Gerco holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Agricultural Engineering (Bioprocess Engineering) from Wageningen University & Research, completed from January 1990 to January 1996, and a V.W.O. degree from Elzendaalcollege Boxmeer, attained from January 1984 to January 1990.
