Gino Birbiglia

Gino Birbiglia is a dynamic Geoscientist currently serving as the Western Gulf of Mexico Exploration Team Leader at Shell, where they lead a team in identifying and developing new exploration opportunities. Gino has a diverse background with previous roles including Senior Staff Exploration Geologist and Development Geologist, and has extensive experience in deepwater, shelf, and onshore environments across the USA, South America, and Southeast Asia. Gino holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Loyola University New Orleans. With strong leadership and mentoring skills, Gino has a proven track record in achieving results through collaboration and innovation in the field of geoscience.
