Gonghyun. Jung

Gonghyun Jung is a senior mechanical static engineer at Shell, where they provide global technical support in areas such as fitness for service and finite element analysis. They hold a PhD in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and previously served as a fitness for service and finite element analysis specialist at Shell Global Solutions from 2006 to 2019. Gonghyun's engineering career began as a research engineer at Hyundai MOBIS from 1990 to 1999, followed by a role as an engineer at EWI from 2003 to 2006. They earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Seoul National University.
