Greg Gut is an experienced executive with a robust background in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, and corporate finance, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Shell since September 2021. Before this role, Greg led Shell Asset Management Company B.V. as CEO and Chief Investment Officer from February 2005 to September 2021, overseeing approximately USD 100 billion in assets for Shell pension funds and other related entities. Positions held prior to this include Head of Alternatives & Externally Managed Funds, Head of Risk, Portfolio Manager for Special Opportunities and Corporate Credit, and Research Analyst for Fixed Income, showcasing expertise in alternative investments, credit analysis, and portfolio management. Greg's career at Shell began in August 2002, where responsibilities included financial accounting and analysis.
