Guus van Hoof

Guus van Hoof has extensive experience in knowledge management and petroleum engineering. Van Hoof served as Department Head at SenterNovem from 1991 to 2006 and has been a Senior Knowledge Management Consultant at Shell Global Solutions since April 2008, leading several critical knowledge retention programs. Additionally, van Hoof is the Director/owner of de HoofZaak since 2006, focusing on knowledge management programs and strategies. From 2007 to 2011, van Hoof worked as a Senior Consultant for DNV Knowledge Management Advisory Services, specializing in the retention of critical knowledge. Van Hoof's earlier career included a role as a Senior Petroleum Engineer at Shell from 1975 to 1991, with experience in various international locations and a specialization in well stimulation techniques. Van Hoof holds an engineering degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, obtained in 1975.
