Hadi Jamali-Rad

Hadi J. Rad is an Assistant Professor at Technische Universiteit Delft since October 2020, leading research on Generative and Multi-Modal AI in Computer Vision and Graph Neural Networks. Concurrently, Hadi serves as Principal AI Research Manager at Shell, overseeing a team focused on Deep Learning and Generative AI, with key contributions to renewable energy modeling, asset safety, and biotechnology. Hadi's previous roles include Lead AI Scientist, where efforts in self-supervised Deep Learning impacted several products, and Senior Research Scientist in Computer Vision, recognized with the Shell Digitalization and Computational Sciences Award in 2019. Hadi's academic background includes a PhD (Cum Laude) from Delft University of Technology and multiple visiting scholar experiences.
