Hans Verheyde is currently the Department Head of Civil & Tanks Engineering at Shell Nederland Chemie B.V. After earning a Master of Engineering from Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst in 2000, Hans began their career at Aquafin where they project managed multiple sewerage projects. From 2000 to 2008, Hans worked at Bayer Technology Services as a civil engineer, developing skills in maintenance and project work in a petrochemical environment while leading a team. At Shell, Hans has expanded their expertise in civil and structural subjects, holding positions from Discipline Engineer to TA2, ultimately achieving Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council in 2017.
