Harshil Patel

Harshil Patel, PhD, is an AI Researcher at Shell since September 2019, focusing on innovative research and development in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to address business challenges, with over 10 publications and conference presentations, including participation at Nvidia GTC. Prior to this role, Harshil served as a PhD Researcher at NWO from September 2015 to August 2019, where significant contributions included developing scalable C codes for predicting multiphase flow in porous structures, utilizing Python and MATLAB for data analysis, and creating advanced machine learning models to outperform traditional physics-based approaches. Harshil holds a PhD in Data Driven & Computational Fluid Dynamics from Eindhoven University of Technology, an M.Tech. in Thermal and Fluids Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
