Henk Wassenaar

Henk Wassenaar is a well-trained general oncologist currently practicing at St. Maarten Medical Center, where they provide comprehensive oncological services, including chemotherapy, consultations, and clinical problem-solving. From 2005 to 2013, they served as chief of medical oncology at Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital and previously held a similar position at St. Elisabeth’s Hospital in Curacao from 2003 to 2005. Wassenaar's extensive experience also includes two decades at St. Vincentius Hospital in Antwerp, Belgium, where they developed their expertise in treating various tumors, including those of the digestive tract and prostate. Wassenaar completed their education at Eerste Christelijk Lyceum Haarlem, earning their einddiploma in 1965.
