Huan Yang is currently a Principal Science Expert (PSE) at Shell, focusing on process development and economic evaluation since 2023. Previously, Huan worked as a Research and Technical Service Engineer at Kraton Polymers from 2002 to 2006, specializing in R&D for polymer modification. In 2001, Huan began their career as a Process Development Engineer at GE Plastics, where they supported the manufacturing of polycarbonate film and sheet. Huan also held the position of Senior Process Evaluation Engineer at Shell in 2012, contributing to various programs in power, new energy, and chemical industries. Huan earned a PhD and bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and Tsinghua University, respectively, and is pursuing a master's degree at Tsinghua University.
