Ian Taylor is a Well Integrity Specialist and Principal Technical Expert at Shell Global PTE, focusing on global well integrity management and advising upstream operated assets on the management of well integrity during the operated phase. Formerly a Production Technologist at Shell UK and Halliburton Reservoir Descriptions, they have built extensive expertise in their field since beginning their career in 1996. Ian co-authored Shell's Global Well Integrity Manual and currently serves as a Technical Authority for multiple regions, while also engaging in academic roles, including acting as an external examiner for RGU MSc courses.
