Ignacio H. is currently the Global Policy Manager for Chemicals and Manufacturing at Shell, where they focus on climate change and sustainability policies to facilitate the energy transition. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering, Ignacio worked with various trade associations and policy groups, advocating for effective climate solutions. Previous roles include Site Responsible Engineer at Nouryon and AkzoNobel, and Process Engineer at Technip and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). Ignacio holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a Master’s in Polymers Science and Engineering from The University of Manchester.
