Ir Eugene Leung

Ir Eugene Leung is a highly skilled professional in sustainability and material science, holding the titles of MPhil, CEng, RPE, MIChemE, and MHKIE. They served as a Visiting Scholar and Researcher at HKUST from 2007 to 2009, and later took on roles including Technical Manager and Facility Manager at Towngas from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Leung is the Sustainability and Improvement Lead at Shell, where they focus on innovative solutions for carbon reduction. They recently worked as a Senior Engineer II at the Nano and Advanced Materials Institute Ltd., contributing to projects involving microalgae and composite materials. Leung is also advancing their musical education in saxophone through self-study since 2021.
