Islam Ali

Islam Ali, PhD, is a Senior Geophysicist (Secondee) at Shell with over 17 years of experience in the petroleum industry, specializing in exploration geophysics and reservoir characterization. Currently, Islam utilizes machine learning techniques to enhance subsurface evaluations for major offshore gas fields in the Nile Delta. Previously, as the Head of the Geophysics Department at Rashpetco, Islam planned and executed geophysical evaluations and reservoir characterizations, demonstrating expertise in seismic inversion and rock physics modeling. Islam holds a PhD in Geophysics from Al-Azhar University, alongside a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
