Jackie Maitland

Jackie Maitland, MCIPR, serves as the Assistant Manager of Corporate Identity and Communications at QatarEnergy since April 2022. With an extensive career at Shell spanning from May 2005 to the present, Jackie has held various leadership roles, including General Manager of External Relations for the MENA Region, Senior Advisor for Government Relations in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Corporate Affairs Manager in New Zealand. Jackie’s expertise includes managing large teams, developing strategic government relationships, and implementing communication strategies to enhance organizational reputation and business objectives. Prior experience includes leadership roles at New Zealand's Commerce Commission and the New Zealand Rugby Union, along with media management positions during Rugby World Cup 2003 and at Crusaders Super Rugby. Jackie holds a journalism cadetship and has contributed to rugby publications as a Managing Editor.
