James Rawlins

James Rawlins is an international climate change and energy policy specialist with extensive experience in consulting and policy development. They have worked as a Climate Policy Consultant, providing support to the International Energy Agency and the Horizon2020 funded PROPEL project. Previously, James held significant roles including Director, Policy & Markets at the Carbon Trust, and Head of Climate Change & Energy at the British Consulate in Shanghai. They recently served as the Global Policy Lead at Shell, focusing on carbon pricing and lobbying transparency. James earned a Bachelor's degree in Egyptology from the University of Oxford.
