Jan Czajkowski

Jan Czajkowski is a Data Scientist in the Decarbonisation Data Science team at Shell since November 2022. Previously, Jan served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science, conducting research in quantum algorithms for lattice-based cryptography and receiving the FGS Dean Excellence postdoc fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Zvika Brakerski. Jan completed a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on quantum-safe cryptography, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory, and held research positions at Nanyang Technological University, the National Quantum Information Centre in Gdańsk, and the University of Nottingham. Jan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the University of Warsaw.
