Janneke Abels

Janneke Abels has held various finance positions within Shell since 2002. Currently, working as the VP Finance for Low Carbon Solutions and Vice President for Sectors and Decarbonisation, they are responsible for helping customers reduce their emissions. Janneke's previous roles include VP Group Planning and Appraisal, VP Finance for Integrated Gas Ventures Development, and VP Finance for Commercial, NBD, and Integrated Gas in Upstream Americas. They have also served as a Finance Manager and Exploration Manager in different departments. In addition, Janneke has also served as a Board Member for SHELL Finance (Netherlands) B.V. and STICHTING SHELL PENSIOENFONDS. Their educational background includes an Executive Master in Finance & Control from the University of Amsterdam.
