JC Skaar

JC Skaar is a Senior Subsea Hardware Engineer at Shell International Exploration and Production, bringing over 25 years of global experience in subsea engineering. Skaar has held various leadership roles, including Subsea Project Manager at Woodside Energy, and Principal Subsea Systems Engineer at A/S Norske Shell, where they contributed to significant projects such as the Ormen Lange Subsea Compression. They also served as Team Leader for the Manifold and Connection Systems Group at Woodside and worked extensively on R&D activities at Vetco Gray Inc. Skaar earned a Master's Degree in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and studied at the University of California at Berkeley in the Department of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering.
