Jimmy Van Itterbeeck is an experienced E&P professional with over 20 years in the industry and a background in geology. They have held various roles at Shell, including Principal Regional Geoscientist and Business Opportunity Manager, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing exploration ventures in regions such as Africa, Asia, and South America. Jimmy's expertise includes seismic and drilling operations with a focus on safety, budget management, and stakeholder engagement. They completed both a Master's and a PhD in Geology at KU Leuven, with their research resulting in publications on marine ostracods.
