Joaquin Caldera

Joaquin Caldera is a seasoned professional in instrumentation and operations with extensive experience at Shell and PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. Since September 2021, Joaquin has held multiple roles at Shell, including Digital Twin Lead, CSU Instrument Specialist, and Senior Operation Readiness Coordinator. Prior experience includes positions such as Operation Readiness Lead at Shell Argentina S.A. and various operational roles within Shell's Canadian and U.S. divisions, focusing on project management and safety compliance. Joaquin began a career in instrumentation at PDVSA, where responsibilities included preventive and corrective maintenance on various flow stations. Joaquin holds an Advanced Technical Degree in Instrumentation from the University Institute of Technology of Cabimas, obtained between 1986 and 1992.
