Joe McGowan serves as the CNS Electrification Project Manager and Development Engineering Manager at Shell since October 2016, overseeing front-end engineering for plant modifications and managing teams of engineers while establishing essential business processes and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Previously, Joe held various roles at BG Group from February 2006 to September 2016, including Facility Concept Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing teams for feasibility studies and conceptual designs, as well as overseeing production management and optimization efforts. Joe's technical expertise was further enhanced during a tenure as Technical Director at Gujarat Gas Ltd. in India. Joe holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
