John Hissong, PE, is a seasoned engineering and management professional with extensive experience in the energy management and automotive industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Solutions Engineering and Energy Management at Shell Recharge since January 2021, John has led the development of teams focused on charging projects across multiple regions. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Greenlots, where responsibilities spanned systems engineering, software quality assurance, and DevOps. John's previous experience includes Vice President roles at HAAH Automotive Holdings and CODA Energy, where significant achievements included the development of UL-listed energy storage systems and the launch of electric vehicles. Additional roles include leadership positions in software engineering at TRW Automotive and ITW Balance Engineering. John Hissong holds an MBA from Saginaw Valley State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
