John Hopkins

John Hopkins is a Senior Staff Geophysicist at Shell, bringing extensive experience in integrated geological and geophysical interpretations from basin-scale through drill sites. Previously, they held the position of Staff Geophysicist at PDO and Senior Geophysicist roles at ExxonMobil and Arco Oil & Gas. John possesses key skills in seismic interpretation, potential fields, and statistical analysis, alongside a passion for coaching and leading natural teams. They earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Geophysics and Seismology from Western Michigan University and Wright State University, respectively.
