John Jacobs is currently the Exploration Aviation Manager at Shell, providing aviation assurance across the Americas as an Air Transport Technical Authority. With extensive experience in the oil and gas aviation sector, Jacobs previously held leadership roles in the United States Air Force, including Commander of a Combat Aviation Squadron, and served as Chief Pilot and Director of Safety at Maritime Helicopters, Inc. Jacobs holds multiple FAA certifications and advanced degrees in Occupational Safety and Health and Education, both achieved with a 4.0 GPA.
