John Lewis, CPA, CISA, has extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance within the oil and gas sector, particularly with Shell Oil Company. From November 2005 to January 2011, John served as Governance, Risk and Assurance Manager, overseeing a control environment for entities generating approximately $8 billion in turnover. Prior to this role, John worked as a Senior Compliance Analyst in Information Risk Management, where responsibilities included monitoring IT general controls and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. John also led a finance team focused on financial reporting and management analysis, achieving significant improvements in delivering reliable financial information for a major holding company within Shell US, valued at over $7 billion in assets. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University.
