John Misso

John Misso is the Vice President and General Tax Counsel at Shell USA, Inc., where they currently oversee all direct and indirect tax matters for Shell’s largest U.S. subsidiary group. With extensive experience in international tax strategy, compliance, and policy, John has held various roles at Shell, including Managing Counsel for US Tax Planning and Senior Tax Counsel. Previously, they worked as a Tax Attorney at ExxonMobil and served as an Associate at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. John holds several degrees, including an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown Law and an MBA in Finance and Management from Tulane University.
