John Solum

John Solum is a Senior Regional Geologist at Shell, where they specialize in seismic interpretation and property prediction of fractured reservoirs. They have previously held roles as a Seismic Interpreter, Structural Geologist, and Senior Geologist at the same company. John has also served as an Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University and a Mendenhall Research Fellow with the U.S. Geological Survey. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Utah State University.
