Jorge Salas has extensive experience in the energy and logistics industries, currently serving as a Distributor Account Manager for Suriname, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas at Shell since May 2012. Previously held roles at Shell also include Sales Manager for Ethylene Oxide and Higher Olefins & Derivatives and Senior Export Charterer. Before joining Shell, Jorge Salas worked at Tricon Energy Ltd from April 2006 to April 2012 as a Logistics Specialist/Supply Chain, where responsibilities included coordinating the transportation and storage of over 200,000 metric tons of products annually and developing relationships with suppliers and customers. Jorge's career began at Continental Airlines as a Junior Project Manager, contributing to the development of a system for tracking crucial crew member data. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of St. Thomas and participation in a leadership seminar at Southern Methodist University in 2019.
