Jose de Vera

Jose de Vera is currently a Regional Exploration Advisor at Shell, where they have held multiple roles including Exploration Team Leader and Staff Exploration Geologist. Previously, they worked as a Structural Geologist at the Research & Consultancy for Petroleum & Minerals Exploration from 2006 to 2009. Jose's extensive experience in the field includes leadership positions across various regions, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as significant contributions to exploration ventures in Algeria and Oman. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geology from both the National University of Ireland, Galway and Universidad de Oviedo, alongside a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
