Jovana Zecevic

Jovana Zecevic has a robust academic and professional background in chemistry, specifically in inorganic chemistry and catalysis. With a PhD from Utrecht University, Jovana Zecevic began a career as a PhD-research assistant at Universiteit Utrecht from 2009 to 2013, followed by a postdoctoral researcher position focused on in situ liquid-phase TEM for catalysts and nanomaterials. Jovana Zecevic then took on a role as Assistant Professor at Universiteit Utrecht, specializing in the synthesis of nanomaterials and advanced electron microscopy techniques. In November 2019, Jovana Zecevic joined Shell as a Researcher and became the Electron Microscopy Lead, coordinating microscopy activities and leading interdisciplinary projects. Most recently, Jovana Zecevic served as Team Lead of Materials Chemistry, overseeing energy transition-related initiatives. Education includes a Dipl. -Ing. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Belgrade and studies at Technische Universität Clausthal, culminating in a PhD in Chemistry.
