Jurgen Hornman

Jurgen Hornman is a seasoned professional with extensive international experience in venture capital, M&A, and business development, currently serving as Partner and Head of Europe at Shell Ventures in London. They are passionate about sustainability and the energy transition, focusing on supporting start-ups and scale-ups in achieving accelerated growth. Additionally, Jurgen holds various board and advisory roles across multiple organizations in the energy sector, including Corvus Energy and NET2GRID, and is actively involved in managing a global Power & Heat investment portfolio as Chair of the Investment Committee. Jurgen obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Strategy, from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
