Karen Lim has extensive experience in various roles within the communications and finance sectors. Starting as a Customer Service Consultant at Prudential Assurance from February 2009 to April 2010, Karen advanced to a Financial Consultant position at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad for a brief period in 2010. From December 2010 to December 2011, Karen worked as an Account Executive at Immerse Communications Sdn Bhd. A long tenure at Shell from September 2018 to May 2021 included several leadership roles, such as Head of Retail for East Coast, Account Manager for Shell Bitumen, Commercial Lead for Upstream Malaysia, Head of Property for Retail Network, Head of Sales for B2C Lubricants in Malaysia and Singapore, and Growth Implementor for Retail Network. Karen holds two Bachelor's Degrees in Marketing from Universiti UCSI and Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 2005 and 2008.
