Karen Wang

Karen Wang, CPA, has a diverse background in finance and strategy, with extensive experience in low carbon research. A Bachelor of Commerce graduate from The University of British Columbia, they have held various leadership roles, including Finance Lead at Shell and Business Investment & Development at Nutrien. Karen has been recognized in multiple competitions, including being a semi-finalist in the KPMG Ace the Case and a second-place winner at the Dragons' Den Case Competition. They are also noted for their involvement in the community, having co-organized the Battle of the Bands Benefit Concert and served as Corporate Relations Director for the University of British Columbia Social Enterprise Club.
