Kaushik Basak CEng

Kaushik Basak is a seasoned chemical engineer with over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 18 years at Shell across Bangalore, Amsterdam, and Singapore. They have held various leadership roles focused on R&D, process development, and process safety, demonstrating a strong capacity to manage global teams and deliver substantial business value. Kaushik's expertise extends to hydroprocessing technologies, where they have contributed significantly to projects that generated over $2 billion in value over the last decade. An accomplished academic, they earned a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and an M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, where they ranked in the top 10% of their class.
